Akure Explosion: We hope someone will be left to defend the South West – FFK

Former presidential aide, Femi Fani Kayode has reacted to the explosion which occurred in Akure, the Ondo State capital in the early hours of saturday.

The explosion left houses and properties destroyed. Reacting to this, Fani Kayode claims the explosion is an attack on the southwestern region of Nigeria as he worries who would be left standing to defend the region.

His tweet:
“First it was Ekiti, then Abule Ado in Lagos and now Akure.

“If we like, we should keep kidding ourselves, saying that these are not bombs and that we are not being targeted.

“Let’s hope that by the end of it all, there will still be someone left standing to defend the South-West,”
