Edo Election: Obaseki not a threat, he is not eligible – Oshiomhole

Suspended Chairman of the ruling all progressives Congress, APC Adams Oshiomhole says Obaseki does not pose a threat to APC’s candidate, Ize-Iyamu as he is not even eligible.

Oshiomhole said this while addressing party faithfuls on Sunday, adding that it was a known fact that Ize-Iyamu, the APC candidate, finished from law school, as his former classmates have testified to that.

He also bragged about safeguarding the lives of Edo Citizens during his tenure as he noted that not one life was lost.

“Obaseki is not a threat. How can a man who is not eligible for election be a threat?, he said

“I was a governor and I did election and won in 2012 and not one life was lost; none was also lost in my time when he (Obaseki) won.

“Obaseki cannot point to new primary and secondary schools he has built in four years.

“Osagie Ize-Iyamu finished from law school; his former classmates have testified to that. We knew about Gov Obaseki’s credentials after PDP took him to court.”

  1. I will just advise all politicians to desist from blackmailing opponents during the campaign/election era. Though Edo people is the one to judge not you.

  2. This man is a shameless person. He was the one that brought this same Obaseki to limelight and swore over his mothers grave that no Edo man was more qualified than him 4 years ago. Today the very person he castigated and called a murderer is now his holy child while his embattled stray godson that changed party has become his sworn enemy. If PDP made you know that Obaseki was not qualified to be governor of Edo state, why allow him to become governor in the first place.
