I will like to appeal to Obaseki to set his anger aside and return to APC – Ize-Iyamu
Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the last governorship election, in Edo State, has appealed to the winner of the election, Governor Godwin Obaseki to return to the APC.
Speaking in a television broadcast on Wednesday, Ize-Iyamu said the party wants to bring everybody back including the governor so they can all work together and bring peace back to Edo State.
“We are going to talk to everybody. We are going to bring everybody back. I want to salute my brother, the governor. I would like to appeal to him to return to the party. In every family, we have a disagreement,” he said.
“I made that mistake before and I have come to realise that it was a grievous error and I will not want him as a senior brother to make the same mistake.
“I will like to appeal to him to set aside his anger and come back. In APC, he is recognised as a leader and it would be difficult for him to be recognised as a leader in the new party he is going to.
“Certainly, we are ready to work with him and all well-meaning Edo people. We believe it is time to bring peace back to Edo State,” he added.
That could be better for you IZE-IYAMU. APC are noting in Nigeria anymore now,PDP will rule everywhere in the upcoming election.
Sure for the benefit of the party apc. Obaseki should just forget them and make the proud again.
You see politicians and their antics. That is why I blame all the people who sink themselves in fighting for these politicians, destroying their properties and terminating people’s lives and their own, they will end up putting themselves into agony while the people they fought for will always reconcile in the shortest possible time and become best of friends which they were
Don’t be surprised that Obaseki will join APC back and if he does he will tell the people that there is no permanent enemy or friend in politics
It will be a disgrace I he goes back to Apc… It’s because of you and oshiomole that he left In the first place so going back now when he is elected governor is absurd
Pastor Ize-Iyamu I can not cause you because you are man of God, but the stupid man that carry you join APC did not tell you that….obaseki did nothing wrong to him before he started campaign against him. I taught you are also in Edo… What exactly obaseki did to oshiomole or people of Edo before he started campaign again obaseki? How can he even think of going back to APC. Before he leave the party he did a meeting with our foolish President…. General Muhammadu Buhari..he see no way that’s why he join PDP…he can never join APC again.
If you listen to Iyamu, his advise is not born out of patriotism or love for oabsaki, no. His advise is premised on his interest in 2024 when he still has the ambition of being a governor. He knows that if he return PDP, he will never get the Huber ticket and the only possible way APC can win Edo again is if Obasaki return to APC. what he want is for Obasaki to return to APC so that he could I climb on his shoulder to become governor in 2024 His personal ambition will consume him finally.
That’s campaign after election, how is that possible for him to return to the party that looks for all means to relegate him but with the power of God he was able to overcome all power against him and you now ask him to come back, I don’t think it will be possible for him to do so.
It will be unwise and selfish of him to go back to APC,he had his victory in PDP so he should stay there instead of going away.
Those leaders should always learn from their mistakes, it’s not possible not to have disagreement but when you do, you must look for a means to settle the disagreement, they will look a way to replace the person and bring another person which is not ought to be. It won’t sound well for obaseki to return back to APC, it will be an ingrate.
So u want him to decamp to APC after PDP has made him win the Governorship Election
