Joseph Yobo resumes Officially as Super Eagles Assistant Coach

Joseph Yobo has officially resumed as the new assistant coach of the Super Eagles’ after being appointed for the role back in February.

The former Super Eagles captain, 40, recently joined the squad in Austria for their friendly games against Algeria and Tunisia.

Sharing a photo of himself posing with head coach Gernot Rohr, he wrote:

“New Chapter. Super Eagles Head coach Genort Rohr and his Assistant coach”.

The super eagles will be facing Algeria and Tunisia on Friday, October 9, and Tuesday, October 13, 2020, respectively in Austria

  1. It’s a welcome development, as a player he will add wealth of his experience to the national team and will be able to talk to them if he noticed any issues among the players.
