Army denies moving dead bodies from Military hospital, describes Exclusive Report as Fake News

The Nigerian Army has described as ‘Fake News’ reports claiming operatives had moved dead bodies from the shooting incident in Lekki.

Sahara Reporters yesterday published an exclusive report claiming that at least 20 bodies of Endsars protesters had been moved to the Infectious Disease Hospital(IDH) mortuary in Yaba.  

The report in part read

”At least 20 bodies of EndSARS protesters massacred at Lekki Toll Gate, Lagos by operatives of the Nigerian Army on October 20, 2020, were on Friday secretly moved to the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) mortuary in Yaba. 

SaharaReporters gathered that the Lekki massacre victims were moved to the IDH mortuary after a postmortem examinations was conducted on their bodies at the Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja.”

Reacting via its Twitter handle, the Nigerian Army described the report as fake.

  2. Either true or false, either you killed or not, either you move the dead body or not, All what I know is that Almighty God will judge everyone and truth shall reveal one day.

  3. No matter what happened is glaring, the Nigeria governments always denied it. I just pray for the consolation of the family who lost their loved ones during the nation wide protest.

  5. Why is Nigeria army is like this….we shouldn’t allow this any longer from Nigeria army….. everything is just lies everyday.

  6. It is like the duty of our military now is to mark every damnews concerning them ‘FAKE NEWS’ even when they are caught right on the action on camera
