Anti-democratic forces hijacked EndSARS Protest – El-Rufai
Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-rufai has disclosed that the EndSARS protest was hijacked by Anti-democratic forces.
While addressing newsmen after a meeting of the Northern Governors Forum and traditional rulers in Kaduna, yesterday, El-rufai averred that the organizers of the EndSARS protests had good intentions but there are people pushing their evil anti-democratic agenda against the good intentions of the people.
“We believe that the End SARS organisers have the best of intentions, but there are people that are pushing their own evil, anti-democratic agenda.
“We have taken very clear positions on some of these issues, and we also back our road map, looking at various aspects of our lives, including Nigeria’s economic challenges, developmental and the almajiri problems,” he said.
The ENDSARS protesters have good intentions as you rightly stated but anti democratic persons took advantage
Those anti democratic persons are people like you simple
We all saw the footages on video how government sent hoodlums to attack innocent peaceful unarmed protesters
The protesters meant good intentions but when the government doesn’t accord them with respect hoodlums hijacked it.
Government should always proactive in their dealings and not handling it with non cahallant attitude if they are doing so it will be a great benefit to them.
The issue on ground is that many of the governors are not intend to take care of your Citizens, if the citizens were taking care of and the issue of #endsars were quickly responded to, it won’t degenerate to this level.
They should haste their solution in order to prevent future occurrence of this situation because if people don’t protest hoodlums won’t hijacked it.
