FG reaches out to Niger Republic and the US in search of Maina

The Federal Government has reached out to the governments of Niger Republic and the United States in their search for the ex-Chairman of Pension Reform Task Team (PRTT) Abdulrasheed Maina who is believed to have jumped bail, in order to execute his arrest.

This was contained in a counter affidavit by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) which was revealed in court today, November 26. It was filed against the bail application Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume filed.

It reads;

“The prosecution has obtained the bench warrant and it is making frantic efforts to execute it while enlisting the support of other security agencies in the country as well as some foreign governments, particularly the Republic of Niger and the United States of America.”

  1. The present administration is handling the issue of corruption with negligence because how the person who committed such atrocity disappeared without reappear.

  2. The security agencies that is concern should do their job and by all means they should apprehend him and make him to face the music.

  3. The architectural of our security is very poor because how would he traveled out just like that without the notice of security agencies.

  4. There are so many people like maina who has jumped bail, that is why maina too has the gut to jump the bail and ran away.

  5. Is funny, who did he traveled to the USA without been screened by Nigeria immigration officers. He is still in Nigeria hiding.
