“Deeply courageous of his eminence to speak the truth” – FFK reacts as Sultan of Sokoto declares North as the worst place in Nigeria
Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode has reacted to a statement by the Sultan of Sokoto where he tagged the North as the worst place in Nigeria.
Speaking in Abuja, the monarch had said contrary to the perception of some Nigerians, bandits have made the North unsafe.
Reacting to this in a tweet, Fani-Kayode applauded the Sultan for speaking the truth as he also prayed that God will help the leaders restore law and order in the country.
He wrote; “Deeply courageous of His Eminence the Sultan of Sokoto to speak truth in this way.
“This is a matter of life and death and we must not play politics with it. May God help our leaders from all over our country and across party lines to restore law and order and establish peace in Nigeria.”
Is this the first time that we will be telling them that, the issue of insecurities in Nigeria is all over the country not only in single region. Do they listen to us? You are now shouting now.
When it has not getting to the they keep quiet but now that it is their turn, they now voice out. I pray those in charge will listen to you and take step.
President should call his men and deliberate on how to secure this country from the kidnappers, bandits, bokoharam etc. And restore peace.
All our security chiefs are from the north then why can’t them sit together and finding lasting solution to this insecurities of a thing.
He has to speak up, because the thing is becoming too much. I love his courage
