“Citizens should push for a panel to help determine Buhari’s state of mind and body” – Ezekwesili

Former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili has called out citizens of Nigeria to collectively push for an independent panel to help make critical medical determination of the president Buhari’s state of mind and body.

Ezekwesili in a tweet said the need for this became necessary following the country’s present predicament. She emphasised that a mental and physical assessment is important as Nigerians need full disclosure before the situation in the country worsens.

“I think that at this stage and depth of fragility of the Nigeria-State, Privacy has to yield ground to our right to know as citizens, the state of health of Buhari.

“We really must assess the physical or mental capability of Nigeria’ President to carry on the duties of office.

“Citizens can collectively push for an Independent Panel to help us make the critical medical determination of the state of mind and body of our President Buhari.

“The conditions of Nigeria have become too grave for us all to sit still and watch a train wreck in the making.

“As an extremely concerned citizen, I hereby demand for a Medical Panel on Buhari since we obviously cannot trust the State House Physician to provide us accurate information.

“It is reasonable demand now for citizens to have full disclosure on the state of health of Buhari,” Ezekwesili tweeted.

  1. I support this 100% because the way things are going in this country, one starts to wonder if there is a president true true

  2. Lol funny but thats simply the right action to take the buhari’s administration is sinking the country and his not taking any action

  3. Yeah, this is completely sensible as the useless lawmakers are clueless. The opposition lawmakers should press for this. Let forensic audit of the health of the president be done by foreign independent medical experts.

  4. There is sudden change in the state of health of president buhari, that is not the issue but absence of president addressing the nation when matter most is the problem.

  5. Security issue should be our priority not the state of health of the president buhari, the way things are going in this country is beyond explanation.

  6. As number one citizen of the country, he should come out and explain his state of health because we are the one paying his salary with our tax payers money.

  7. I don’t think he is the one that is governing us, the way he is handling things nowadays is awful. How would a sitting president be looking at the way bandits, bokoharam, kidnappers and many more be slaughtering people and doing nothing about it. This is bad.

  8. I think you are correct ma, because a normal person cannot sit down and watch this tragedy befall his country when he has the power to do something about it

  9. My dear you are very right looking at the way things are right now we truly need a medical report to determine his state of mind because his way of doing things is as you someone that have some animalities

  10. After pushing, will our voices be heard? The citizens are not in a better position to do that because their voices are not heard.

  11. You are very right because it’s been a long time we heard of him being sick and is human is our president once in a while we should have an update of his health status
