FG commences payment of N30k grant to commercial drivers

The federal government has announced that it has commenced the payment of N30k grant to commercial drivers across the country.

According to a tweet by Presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, he said the development is to support small businesses to cushion the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He tweeted;

“The Federal Government has commenced N30,000 grants for taxi, bus, okada, Keke Napep, Uber, Bolt drivers and cart pushers across the country, this is in furtherance of its commitment to support small businesses to cushion the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic

  1. This is nice to hear but the question is how did they get the data of these commercial drivers in the country or is rhis another ploy to loot public funds

  2. Is this what we really need…for how many people now? Let me tell the federal government this can never be welcome by we Nigerian…even if they collect it does mean they appreciate it…that means you know what you are doing to us.

  3. Audio promises day in day out, give us the name of those who registered and the name of those who will benefit from it.

  4. Another method of siphone money, when you will give ten people and you will say hundred people have benefited from it like trader money (owo isowo).
