Politics is the only Industry in the North – Arewa Forum
The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has lamented the rising case of violence in the north, revealing that northern children now see violence as a means of livelihood.
Speaking during a visit to Governor Babagana Zulum over the recent killing of farmers by Boko Haram, ACF Chairman, Audu Ogbeh, stated that politics has become the only industry in the region.
According to him, politics has “never grown any society.”
He said:
“We are depressed, very depressed. And anyone of us, of our age, who was not depressed, he was not well-born. Because we have nothing to leave behind for our children, and violence will not sustain us.
“The tragedy of the north today is that the only industry left is politics, and politics alone has never grown any society.
“We have to re-grow Borno state, we have to re-grow the north, we have to re-grow Nigeria. We have no industries, agriculture has declined and our own children have now turned to violence as a means of livelihood.”
Everybody there wants to be a politician whether they know the onions of politics and what it takes to be one or not
This is absolutely the reason they feel they can rule forever
Arewa is valuable in Nigeria and is because they have nothing in arewa. And they are the useless people we have in this country.
Have you seen it by yourself that your people in that region are not leaving a good legacy for the children, instead of giving them sound education you are giving them illiterate.
Education is the best legacy you can give to a children without that all other thing is vanity. You better call for meeting and find solution to it.
Some of you know the truth and you are hiding it from the you ought to tell frankly, unless you speak up without that there won’t be any changes.
Until you stop deceiving yourself, your region won’t grow how it suppose to be. All these things that is happening in your area is the work of illiterate not any other things.
Honestly the issue of insecurity and kidnapping is getting rampant in the country and if check, many of those involved in this act are youth. This is just because of high rate of unemployment in the country.
That is true cuz they worship those politicians over there like God……
