Woman allegedly burns her stepdaughter’s face with hot knife in Abuja
A woman has been accused of inflicting bodily harm on her young stepdaughter and subjecting the young girl to other forms of physical and mental abuse.
The victim is identified as Husnah Habib, a class 4 student of Islamic school, Sheikh Abubakar Gummi Academy located in Asokoro, Abuja.
According to the video posted today by Hausa Blogger, Northern Hisbiscus, the young girl came to school on Tuesday morning, December 8, with burn wounds on her face and hand.
Narrating her ordeal in the video, the young girl said that the stepmother put a kitchen knife on fire and when it became hot, she placed it on her face. The woman also got hold of her hand and placed it directly on the fire.
The young girl said she is scared of telling her father about her ordeal in the hands of his wife because it will earn her more punishment from the woman.

Why are those women behaving like animals? Even animal can’t put its children in fire not to talk of human being. A primary four class pupil, no matter what she has done she doesn’t deserve this punishment.
Can someone gives the kind of treatment to her child/children or is it because her mother is not with you people. This is barbaric and it must stop.
This woman must be punished for this because if she is not punished the one that he will do after this will be worse.
Human rights or those authority in charge of child abuse should please Wade in in this situation in order to prevent future occurrence. This woman is wicked and Even her husband, her step daughter. This is bad.
