Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, travels to the US for medical check-up, hands over to Deputy

Nasarawa state governor, Abdullahi Sule, has notified the State House of Assembly that he is travelling to the United States of America (USA) for medical check-up from Dec. 13 to Dec. 29.

The Speaker of the assembly, Ibrahim Balarabe-Abdullahi, disclosed this today Monday, December 14, while reading the Governor’s letter to the house, titled, “Notification to Travel to the United States of America.”

The letter in part reads

”I wish to inform the Rt. Hon speaker, I shall be travelling to the United States of America for medical check-up from Sunday, 13th to Saturday 29th December, 2020.

Accordingly, in my absence, the Deputy Governor would oversee the affairs of the state pending my return,” the governor said.

  1. That’s why you people refused to make Nigeria health centres to function wella because you people do go abroad for check up on daily basis. But God no go shame us that doesn’t has assets to go abroad for check ups.

  2. After messing up our Healthcare they run to US what if the US government messed up their own hospitals and doctors where will they be running to? God will judge them all. Death will still meet them their

  3. This is out of it, traveling to the USA for just ordinary medical check-up when millions are in Nigeria dieing of not being able to pay 10k for their medical bills, this is not good.

  4. Given those people you said you are serving unfair treatment is not good, why can’t you equip the state government hospital and recruit medical personnel so that the average Nigerians will benefit from it.

  5. When you wrote your state assembly about your trip to USA for medical check-up what of Nigerians who doesn’t have anything to eat not to talk of treating themselves in the hospital. Nawa oooo

  6. Some states government can’t afford to pay minimum wage but they can travel to anywhere in the world to treat themselves in expense of those they are governing, spending tax payers money anyhow. There is God.

  7. I think is high time they ban and stop all these our leaders from traveling out of the shores of this land to go abroad for any form of medical checkup or treatment
    This will force them to look inwards and make our own health system here better for all citizens
