Katsina Government confirms release of 340 abducted schoolboys

The Katsina State Government has confirmed the release of 340 abducted schoolboys of Government Science Secondary School Kankara.

In an interview with the BBC Hausa, the Secretary to the Government of the State, Mustapha Inuwa, confirmed the development, saying they were released on Thursday night.

“We are able to secure their release this night by the special grace of God. They are now on their way back to us.

“The governor is now waiting to receive them tonight,” he said.

  1. Why is our leaders always toy with our lives? Instead of taking care of her citizens they engage on what is going to benefit them.

  2. I hope they released all of them to their parents without any condition, may Almighty God continue to protect those children from the hands of the evil doers.

  3. Hope those in charge of government do not conspire with all these bokoharam and all other evil doers in the country? Just telling us that the abductors released those students without anything in return, I don’t believe it.

  4. What is going on in the north west of the country because those in that area have seen these atrocities as normal business where no one can disturb them and those in charge are sitting down to look at them.

  5. Thank God for there release, it’s important that they are out. Security egency should step up security in the north
