Kidnappers of 333 students must face full wrath of the law – US tells Nigerian govt

The United States (U.S.) on Thursday told the Nigerian government to hold those responsible for the abduction of schoolboys from Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State, according to them the kidnappers must be allowed to face the full wrath of the law.

In a statement issued by a spokesperson of the The U.S Department of State, Cale Brown after the release of the students on Thursday, they condemned the abduction, offered sympathy to parents of students who just got rescued, adding that school should be a safe place for children.

“We offer our sincere sympathies to the families of the missing students and the security guard killed in the attack.

“School should be a safe place where children can learn and thrive, the kidnappers should face the full extent of the law,” the statement read.

  1. We are watching our government to see what they will do
    Unless the United States of America will personally come to melt that full wrath of the law on those criminals, I don’t think our so called leaders will do them anything instead self they will give them a handshake

  2. Is it because of this that Nigeria government seek for the quick release of those boys, God won’t forgive those in charge.

  3. They should be held responsible those who involved in this atrocity, because seeing those students in that situation is pathetic.

  4. Nobody to be held responsible except federal government, I can’t still understand how those children is being kidnapped?

  5. If you can assist us in tackling the security in our country because it is now beyond what our government can tackle. People are dying everyday.

  6. There is no government in this country so how do they face the Law. See how US is sending sympathy letter to the families of the kidnapped children while Nigerian Government is busy visiting their cows and snake farms.
