“The Kankara boys abduction is business as usual for Northern leaders” – Ohanaeze
Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council, OYC, Worldwide, has described the abduction and release of the 344 students of Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Kastina State as fake.
The group termed the whole process as an award winning drama. According to the OYC, the display may have been carried out to make the service chiefs appear capable or “resist the idea of sacking them from office.”
In a statement signed by the president general of the OYC Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, and Secretary General Mazi okwu Nnabuike, said the leader of Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau provided the new blankets displayed by the 344 abducted pupils.
“The evidence of (provisions of) new blankets for over 344 pupils of Kankara boys by Boko haram insurgents makes the abduction fake or jankara and organizers of the drama as amateurs.
“Northern leaders have refused to accept their leadership failures in governance, most of their political leaders are behind the insecurity situations in the north and are benefiting immensely from the huge budgetary allocations mapped out for insecurity challenges, the Kankara boys abduction is business as usual for Northern leaders.”

I don’t really get it how such a thing will happen
That’s truth unless we are just deceiving ourselves, how would they just kidnapped 344, students like that without being caution.
Northern elders should rise up and put an end to this insecurities in their region if they do not want those terrorist to take over there region. Enough for the wise.
There are some powerful people in the north that are benefitting from this insecurities and if they were not fish out, the region won’t know peace. I’m not coursing but saying the truth.
Though, the abduction may be some how to us but we need appreciate the president for his quick intervention and maybe if he doesn’t act fast we would have been saying other things for now. Congrats to those students that was released to their parents.
