Boko Haram: Be thankful for small mercies you receive from Buhari Govt – Presidency tells Nigerians
The Presidency says Nigerians should be thankful for the little mercies shown to them by the President Muhammadu government and emphasize on them instead of finding faults.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Sunday politics, presidential aide, Femi Adesina said Nigerians should be thankful that bombings by Boko Haram insurgents no longer happen on a daily basis in the country, recalling that there was a time in Nigeria when bombs would go off for about 6 times in a single day, insisting that since Buhari became President, the killings had reduced.
When asked if security had improved under the current government, the presidential aide said, “Yes, there are times, a week, two weeks even a month that you don’t have all these things happening.
“There was a time in the immediate past when they happened daily several times. You talked of one bombing within three or four days. There was a time in this country when bombs went off like firecrackers every day.
“There could be five, six bombings in one day. Now, you can have two, three months with no single case of bombing. Let’s be thankful for small mercies. Any mercies we receive, let’s be thankful for it and let’s not dwell on negatives alone.
“Life is taking the rough and smooth together. So, sometimes we see when things go on for days, for weeks with no negative developments, let us emphasise those ones… We have challenges, but these are not the constants in the country.”
Hear him out on his statement, this is bad of him. We should be thankful to him on what basis, he is the one who said he can do it then, what has he done that deserves praise. Shame on this present administration.
You don’t even have feeling for huma’s life, if one life lost in your administration you ought to have held responsible not to talk of lives. Femi adeshina you are a wicked fellow human being.
Are you telling us that those lives that lost under your watch doesn’t matter to you, may be because your family is not among that is why you have the guts to continue saying rubbish if not you would have kept quiet.
What does he mean? Do we still deserve suffering more than this? OMG! I’m still wondering wether this man human being or evil? One day Almighty God will surely put an end to this suffering.
Imagine what this useless man is saying….. Protection of lives and property of the citizens is the work is one of the main amenities that president and government of the country should provide for it’s citizens……
As for me, I don’t like to listen to this man’s speeches because he now talks like an idiot
