Veteran Nollywood actress Victoria Inyama revealed that her estranged husband, Godwin Okrim, consistently directed his frustration towards her whenever his favorite football club, Manchester United, lost a match

In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, the actress disclosed that her ex-husband would physically harm her whenever the football team, Manchester United, experienced a loss. She shared that the trauma from those incidents still affects her to this day, causing her to harbor not only a dislike for the football club but also triggering memories of the abuse she endured whenever she witnesses their defeats.

She said, “I hate Man Utd, ehn. The number of beatings wey dem beat me because Man United lose match ehn.

“Even up to today when there is a football match and Man U loses, I am like Thank God, today would have been a beating day. Even my son knows and would be laughing.”
