Christmas: Pray for Nigeria, Imbibe teachings of Jesus Christ, Gbajabiamila tells Christians

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has called on Christians to pray for Nigeria and the peaceful coexistence of its people.

The Speaker in his Christmas message on Thursday urged Christians to imbibe the teaching of Jesus Christ and also pray for their leaders for God’s guidance

According to him, periods like this call for sober reflection and Nigerians, irrespective of where they come from, “must work towards achieving the dreams of our founding fathers, who made a lot of sacrifices for us to be one.”

According to the Speaker, the year 2020 came with the COVID-19 challenge but with prayers and observance of the established protocols, “the country shall overcome it in the end.”

  2. As we are praying for our dear country Nigeria, we need to work along with it because prayers without working is nothing.

  4. The main religion that we have in the country is Islam and Christian, do we really follow what both books teaching us, book. We need to amend our ways and go back to God.

  6. You are right on this prayer they say is the key to every door we need to pray if you want to go forward but especially during this festive. That a lot of trial and temptation are always around

  7. We are all praying for Nigeria but you people that call yourselves our leaders don’t want to change for the better
    If everyone will be behaving Christlike, the whole world will be a better place to live in
