Hope of Nigerians Rest on PDP – Wike
Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike is of the opinion that the Peoples Democratic Party remains the only hope of Nigeria.
Wike said this during the commissioning of the reconstructed Aker base road in Rivers state.
According to him, the fate of the country is in the hands of the party and the party will continue to give Nigerians the hope they are looking for.
“PDP is a party Nigerians want,” Wike said. “No matter all the intimidation, it will not work. We are men of character. We are people who stand by what they say. Not for pecuniary interest.
“If I was that kind of Governor . . . I know how many times people have tried to woo us. We say no, we cannot be wooed. We are here, we are here. We started with PDP, we will end up with PDP. We have no other political party to join. Because the fate of this country, the hope of Nigeria solely depends on our party.
“When we talk about our party, it is not for selfish interest. But because we want our party to continue to give Nigerians that hope that Nigerians are looking for. So when there is any mistake, we shout out. So that Nigerians won’t lose faith because everybody is hoping that by 2023 PDP will take over the reins of power. I am not talking about this state.”

Is it party that gives hope. Party is just a nomenclature and PDP..o , APC..o, all are the same, no difference, so Wike should just go and sit down afterall the so called political parties in Nigeria have no ideologies
we all know all of you they have like the saying that everybody loves his or her mother’s pot of soup that’s why you can see when power is handed over to you people you people will still be doing things that are not in accordance to the constitution all we need in this country is just got to come and rescue us
We will not put our hopes in useless politicians again but God cuz he is the only one that doesn’t dissapoint……
Nonsense talk, is it not PDP that you are talking about ruled us for 16 years without pay point on your achievement, you are now come out and saying rubbish.
If you (PDP) really do something meaningful during your reign we won’t reject you but corruption and selfishness is the one that spoilt your administration.
You are not our Messiah at all because we have tried you for sixteen years and tried APC for eight good years also but before APC turns everyone of us to beggar will quickly change all of them too.
Unless you left your clothes or any of your belongings that you want to go and take aside that we are not a moron like you upon calamities that you have brought to us both PDP and APC, you still want to continue with it God forbid bad things.
Even the PDP had failed else many time I can’t remember the 15 years of leadership in the past and Nothing came out all we need is a good Nigerian y rescue us and not just a party
