Atiku Abubakar receives Pfizer Coronavirus vaccine

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has received the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

This was revealed in a statement by his spokesperson , Paul Ibe where he expressed hope of Nigerians, especially medical professionals in the frontline and the most vulnerable in the country receiving the vaccine.

“The importance of the #COVID19 vaccine in mitigating the effect of the coronavirus cannot be overstated, particularly in Africa and Nigeria. Yesterday (Wednesday), as part of the mass vaccination programme, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.

“He is anxiously looking forward to when Nigerians, especially medical professionals in the frontline and the most vulnerable will be vaccinated in the country, the statement reads

  1. That’s good, we implore you to always lead by example in everything, just make sure that your remaining family is also vaccinated.

  2. When it gets to Nigeria the first person to have the vaccine is number one citizen which is Mr President and others follow.

  3. Well done Mr former vice president, this time around you did good thing but if it is in Nigeria you won’t do that.

  4. I don’t think he would have taken it if not that they can’t do without traveling to abroad, in abroad everything with protocols and guidelines.

  6. Let all politicians and civil servants first be vaccinated. If its successful, others will follow suit but if its not successful, we rid the country the corrupt people holding us in the jugular. The problem of this country is bad leadership therefore they should be used to test the vaccine first. As to Atiku Abubakar he has shown what a true leader ought to be. The number citizen if the country supposed be the first person to take the vaccine and if its successful good others will follow but if its not successful, the country will rid itself of one of the major problem which is leadership
