“Busy Actresses don’t have time to be slay Queens and look good” – Ruth Kadiri
Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri, says busy actresses don’t have time to look good because of the demands of their job.
The film star shared this in a video via her Instagram handle. She said she has not had the opportunity to fix acrylic nails or eyelash extensions because of the kind of roles she gets.
She further lamented that she has just fixed eyelash extensions but now has to remove them because the script demands that she looks like a village girl.
The mother of one added that actresses who take time to slay with their nails and eyelashes on fleek do so because they hardly get called for jobs.
It’s not a matter of hardly called for their job rather depends on the role they played. If you were asked to play a role of harlot you must fix those things.
Involve in filmmaking doesn’t portrait you to look like prostitute, doing all those things does not make you look like angel. I don’t think those things necessary.
You can still look nice in doing your job because if you look a naughty nobody will look at your side not to talk of calling you for role in the film.
There is time for everything, if you were always busy engaging yourself in one way or the other, you must have time to relax yourself and take break.
You are right, people like you who has dignity cannot be found doing those slaying things.
While that is true but fixing eye lashes or nails is not a big deal to some and it’s doesn’t mean that they don’t have job…..
