Final year student commits suicide over his lover’s alleged cheating on Valentine’s Day
A 400 Level Student of the department of Mathematics at Federal University, Dutse, FUD, Jigawa State identified as Abdullahi Bashir has committed suicide over alleged cheating by his lover.
According to reports, it was gathered that the incident occurred on Monday, around 4:00 pm at Yelwawa quarters in Dutse Local Government Area.
The deceased had consumed sniper to his death after accusing his girlfriend, Rafiatu Muhammad, a 200 Level student of cheating on Valentine’s Day.
The University’s Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Yahaya Bello confirmed the incident. He said that the student was rushed to Rasheed Shekoni Teaching Hospital, Dutse where he was pronounced dead.
He disclosed that the University is carrying out an investigation to ascertain the cause of death.

You may love your girlfriend or boyfriend but not to the extent of committing suicide because one incident or another, that is disgusting.
Even if your wife that you have married despite giving birth to children for doesn’t warrant that you should kill yourself.
This is saddened, it has now become rampant in the country. When the bokoharam, bandits, assassin didn’t kill you and you are the one killing yourself, this is bad.
Rest in peace but despite that your girlfriend will still marry another man.
