FG knows hideouts of Killer-Herdsmen, Bandits – Sheikh Ahmad Gumi
Popular Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi has stated that the Federal Government is aware of the hideout of bandits terrorising the nation.
He said this when asked why he can locate and hold dialogue with the bandits, while government authorities cannot find them.
Speaking on Channels TV “Politics Today” on Monday, the cleric stated that the government was only now playing safe because it realised that the former approach of attacking the bandits face to face wasn’t working.
Gumi said: “They (government) know. They see them (bandits) by aerial view. But the military has learned its lesson.
“The first approach they had— when they go in and start killing— they realised is the wrong way and that they were producing a monster. They are now careful.
“The only element I am adding now is ‘look, don’t just wait and watch, go in and negotiate.”
they knows but they had turn insecurities in this country as source of income which they didn’t want to end….
They know na, its obvious. They are gaining something from these insurgency, but God will judge them all
May Almighty have mercy on us, the way insecurities are going in the country is very bad, I hope the government will do something about it.
To negotiate with bandits again, what will it profit the government if they do so because I can’t understand our it?
