NDLEA intercepts drugs concealed in statue of Mary and auto spare parts
Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, have intercepted illicit drugs concealed in a statue of Mary and auto spare parts heading to Canada and the United Arab Emirate, UAE.
This was according to a statement released by the spokesperson of the agency, Femi Babafemi. He said 500grammes of heroin hidden inside auto spare parts and 140grammes of Metaphetamine concealed inside a statue of Mary going to Canada and Philippines respectively were seized by narcotics agents from the Directorate of Operations and General Investigations
According to the statement, the Director, Operations and General Investigations, Adeyemi Adeofe disclosed that 3.1 kg of cannabis going to UAE concealed inside spices, and another kilogramme of cannabis going to UAE concealed inside local herbs were intercepted and seized.
it’s good that it was intercepted before it reach it’s destination…….
After this interception we won’t hear anything again, something needs to be done
Human being with their evil mind, using status of Mary to carry drugs, this is bad
We are just looking for money here and there, not minding whether it’s saint or evil one, I hope those involved won’t go freely
They need to be prosecuted and brought to book to serve as deterrent to others
