If FG doesn’t want to declare bandits as terrorists then declare them Federal Workers – Shehu Sani Tells Buhari Govt

Senator Shehu Sani, a former federal lawmaker, has asked the government to declare bandits as federal civil servants since it is becoming difficult for them to pronounce them terrorists.

Nigerians have provided various reasons for the Buhari administration to declare bandits’ groups in the North as terrorists. The Government has however remained adamant to the calls, saying that there is a process to declare a group as a terrorist organisation.

Reacting to this in a tweet on Monday morning, the former lawmaker represented Kaduna Central District at the 8th Assembly, wrote, “They [bandits] killed Muslim worshipers in their mosques in Niger and Katsina State; they killed Christians in their Churches in Kaduna State; if the Government doesn’t want to declare them terrorists, it should declare them federal civil servants.”
