APC: Our Presidential Candidate is expected to come from the South – El-Rufai

Governor of Kaduna state Nasir El-Rufai has disclosed that the Presidential Candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC is expected to come from the South whilst the position of the Party’s National leader will be held by a Northerner

The Governor made this known in an interview on Channels Television Politics today

“Our expectation is that our presidential candidate will come from somewhere in the south,” he said

He stated that the southern caucus of the ruling party will then decide which part of the area the candidate will come from.

“It is up to the southern caucus of the APC to now propose to us an acceptable candidate,” He added
