APC National chairman, Adamu Abdullahi, resigns from Senate

The new chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu has resigned from his seat as the Senator representing Nasarawa North Senatorial District in the Nigerian Senate.

He sent in his resignation letter today April 12 following his election as the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on March 26. According to him, his resignation takes effect from 1st April 2022

The letter was read by the Senate President, Dr Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan during the plenary on Tuesday.
