What I saw did not give me Joy – Nnamdi Kanu’s brother speaks on the IPOB leader’s health situation in DSS custody
Emmanuel Kanu, brother of embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nmamdi Kanu, has voiced his concern over the health of his brother. He said the state of Kanu did not give him Joy.
He said the IPOB leader has been having stomach ache and needs to be properly examined by a specialist
Nnamdi Kanu is under trial for treason and terrorism charges, he has denied all charges.
“I visited my brother and the leader of the IPOB Nmamdi Kanu yesterday at the DSS facility in Abuja where he is being detained and what I saw did not give me joy, Emmanuel said
He said it was unfortunate that Kanu would be sick to that level and the DSS would not allow his medical doctors to examine him. He alleged that several efforts the family have made to get Nnamdi Kanu’s doctors examine him, were rebuffed by the DSS.
“My brother is having serious stomach problem where he is being detained and he needs his specialist doctors to examine him.” Emmanuel said.
Government should take of his health because he has not been found guilty by the court of law
If he is seriously sick, DSS should allow his doctor to take care of him without hindering him with his right
it will not be good cuz he brought it upon himself and now faces the consequences of his actions……..
