ASUU: The strike will soon be called off – Falana
Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, has claimed that the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) will call off its strike soon.
Falana who is the Union’s counsel made this known during a book launch by Lanre Arogundade on Monday in Lagos.
He hinted that the industrial action will be concluded outside the courtroom.
“The legal advice that I will give to my clients is confidential. But I can assure you that the strike will soon be called off,” Falana stated
ASUU has been on strike since February 14th over demands of proper funding of the university educational system to a global standard.
It would be better if the strike is called off
They have wasted years of those students and I hope something meaningful must come out from it
it will be good news if it happens………
