Naira now is not even worth the paper it is printed on – Adeboye
General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God, Pastor E.A Adeboye has lamented the happenings in the country and the urgent need of the government to redesign of the Naira
The cleric stated that Nigeria’s situation has become worse to the extent that the country’s currency was no longer worth the paper it’s printed on.
Governor of the Apex Bank, Godwin Emefiele had announced redesigning N100, N200, N500, and N1000 notes which will be released on December 5, 2022
Reacting to this, the cleric said; “We need to ask God for mercy because what’s going on in our country, it doesn’t even make sense anymore.
“Our Naira now is not even worth the paper it is printed on. While people are hungry, trying to find enough money to buy bread to eat our boses are thinking of making the Naira more beautiful that is, even if it can’t buy bread, at least it will look beautiful.”
The problem is that they don’t do well right from the beginning
Our leaders need to stand up for their responsibility to make life easier for her citizens
