Naira wasn’t redesigned for beauty, CBN deserves kudos – Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri has said the newly unveiled Naira notes were redesigned for economic and security reasons and not for beauty

He said the Governor of the bank, Godwin Emefiele and the CBN board should be applauded

He shared this in a tweet via his Twitter handle. According to him, Dollar is powerful because of its value and not beauty.

He wrote; ”The Naira was not redesigned for beauty. It was redesigned for economic and security reasons. And it achieved exactly that. Naira appreciated. Bandits were flummoxed. The dollar is powerful, but not beautiful. Emefiele and the CBN board deserve kudos, not hubris!
