It is a shame for the president to hand over power to opposition party – APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu
National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdullahi Adamu has said that it will be a thing of shame if President Muhammadu Buhari hands over power to opposition party.
Adamu made the statement in an interview with BBC Hausa, claiming Buhari wants APC to win more than any other political party.
He said this dismissing claim that the President is withdrawing from campaigning for Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate, saying it is improper for Buhari to leave his job as president because of the electioneering.
“Anyone who tells you that he wants (APC to) win this election more than Buhari is lying. My reason is that it is a shame for the president to hand over power to a political party that is not his,” he said.
That’s nonsense talk, if Jonathan didn’t hand over power to how would get there?
Unless you want to rig it, if people don’t vote for you how would you do it
