‘287 million’ new Naira notes reportedly discovered hidden in a bank vault during a joint operation by EFCC and ICPC operatives
A CBN joint security operation with EFCC and ICPC has reportedly discovered over N287million redesigned Naira notes hidden in its vault.
A video making rounds shows new Naira notes stacked on shelves and on the floor in an inner room in the bank.
This is coming amidst scarcity of new notes across the country as Nigerians are seen on queues standing for hours.
That’s wickedness of the highest order
Government should intensify their efforts in tackling this issue
I hope the government will deal it mercilessly
