Davido’s baby mama, Sophia Momodu calls out men who don’t pay child support

On Thursday, Sophia Momodu, the first baby mama of musician Davido, took to Twitter to call out men who do not financially support their ex-partners, particularly when children are involved. She suggested that there should be a “special place in hell for people who intentionally punish innocent children”.

Sophia expressed her frustration with the current laws in Nigeria, which she believes do not provide adequate protection for women and children in the event of a divorce or break-up. She added that she has been keeping quiet about the issue for almost a year, but that “enough is enough”.

She wrote, “Only in Nigeria! The laws don’t protect women or children & the men just do the absolute most! My goodness the whole system just stinks!”

“Why should it be ok for a man to force a woman to handle his responsibilities as a father simply because the woman chooses to move forward & refuses to look back?”
