Whether you go to Daura or Niger Republic, expect knocks on your doors – Tinubu tells Buhari

The President-elect, Bola Tinubu, emphasized that President Muhammadu Buhari should anticipate knocks on his door even after his tenure concludes.

Tinubu stated that regardless of whether Buhari retreats to Daura, Katsina State, or travels to Niger Republic, he should be prepared for critical remarks.

He made these remarks while receiving the National Honour of Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic, GCFR, in Abuja on Thursday.

The President-elect acknowledged the significance of the bestowed honor upon himself and his Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima, and acknowledged the immense challenges that lie ahead.

“I understand the honour given to me today and the magnitude of the task ahead, whether you go to Daura or Niger Republic, expect knocks on your doors,” Tinubu remarked
