Bawa briefs President Tinubu on the fight against corruption

Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa held a meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

It is the EFCC Chairman’s first official engagement with President Tinubu since assuming office. The purpose of the meeting was to update the president on the progress made in the fight against corruption.

Bawa also took the opportunity to brief President Tinubu on his recent visit to Saudi Arabia, where he signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (NAZAHA) of Saudi Arabia. The objective of this MoU is to enhance international partnerships in addressing the intricate challenges posed by corruption.
