Biafran/Obidient soldiers not better than Boko Haram, ISWAP – Fani-Kayode

Femi Fani-Kayode, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has drawn a parallel between the actions of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and those of terrorist organizations.

In response to the ongoing week-long sit-at-home directive enforced by Simon Ekpa’s faction of IPOB, Fani-Kayode stated that the secessionist group is no different from Boko Haram and the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) insurgents.

FFK shared a video depicting the assault on students and teachers by individuals enforcing the sit-at-home order and accused supporters of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, commonly known as Obidients, of being responsible for the reprehensible attack.

“Behold the works of the armed wing of the Obidient movement, all in the name of Biafra. Enugu was relatively peaceful whilst Gburugburu was there, but now we are witnessing this savage barbarity against children.

“I am at a loss for words. This is pure evil. Are these Biafran/Obidient footsoldiers any better than Boko Haram and ISWAP? Such wickedness is rarely seen, and I wholeheartedly condemn it. Something must be done!”
