Mmesoma vs JAMB: She learned from our leaders – Charly Boy

Veteran singer, Charlie Boy has shared his reaction to the controversy surrounding Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma, a candidate for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), who confessed to using her phone to inflate her score to 362.

In recent news, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) released the scores of candidates who applied for admission, with Nkechiyere Umeh obtaining the highest score of 360. However, Mmesoma, a 19-year-old student of Anglican Girls’ Secondary School, Uruagu Nnewi, protested that she scored 362.

A committee was subsequently established by the Anambra state government to investigate her claims, and it was reported that Mmesoma confessed to manipulating her results.

Taking to his Twitter handle on Sunday, Charly Boy expressed that Mmesoma managed to deceive many people, including himself, but added that she learned the art of forgery from political leaders

He wrote; “Mmesoma Ejikeme fooled many including me, check out the fluency with which she defended herself with such innocence. These children na wa, ooo.

“She is still a brilliant girl so let’s not be in a hurry to destroy her, the parents have a lot of counselling to do with her, by the way, who never fuckup, raise ur hand.

“She learned work from leaders that believed that forgery is good plus those who never found their WAEC results till date. Am sure she was in dis Naija as INEC was manipulating Nigeria electoral process.”
