I will win Grammy – BNXN

Nigerian singer-songwriter Daniel Benson, also known as BNXN (formerly Buju), has expressed his strong belief in winning the prestigious Grammy music award in the near future. The Afrobeats sensation is determined to achieve legendary status within the Nigerian music industry.

BNXN, who was featured alongside Ayra Starr and Victony in Teen Vogue’s Africa’s New Wave, shared his aspirations in a recent interview. Despite receiving the 2022 Headies Award for Next Rated Artist, he stated that he is not solely focused on awards like that. Instead, his ultimate goal is to become a music legend, and he is confident that he will achieve this feat, with or without a Grammy.

He emphasized that he is determined to take his music to the highest level possible and aims to be remembered for his contributions to the industry, irrespective of specific awards.

“Nice to get [a 2022 Headies Award for Next Rated Artist], but not something I’m really hoping for. I’m going to get a Grammy just doing what I do.

“I’m looking for legendary status. I want to enjoy this and take it to the highest level possible, Grammy or not,” he said.
