Emefiele: Stop DSS from disobeying court order – Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer tells Tinubu

Aloy Ejimakor, the Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has directed a message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu concerning the actions of the Department of State Services (DSS).

Ejimakor urged Tinubu to intervene and prevent the secret service from disregarding court orders. He expressed strong disapproval of the DSS’s consistent pattern of disobeying court orders, deeming it unacceptable.

Taking to Twitter, Ejimakor recollected how the DSS had previously failed to adhere to court orders granting Kanu his freedom.

He wrote: “This era of disobedience of court Orders by DSS is a reminder of the most famous one it disobeyed: The 2022 Order of the Federal High Court (Umuahia), declaring that the detention of MAZI NNAMDI KANU is unlawful. It lies with TINUBU (@officialABAT) to stop this serial illegality.”

This is coming after the DSS refused to allow the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Godwin Emefiele enjoy his bail.
