They are all excellent choices and I wish them the very best in their service to our great nation – Fani-Kayode reacts to Tinubu’s ministerial nominees list

Femi Fani-Kayode, a prominent figure within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has congratulated the individuals nominated for ministerial roles

It is worth recalling that the President forwarded the names of the initial set of nominees to the upper house of the National Assembly for the purpose of evaluation, last Thursday.

Subsequently, the comprehensive list comprising 19 names was formally announced during a session in the House on Wednesday, presided over by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

Opposition party members had taken the opportunity to taunt Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation, due to his nonappearance on the lists.

Fani-Kayode, who had remained silent regarding the initial list, has now extended his congratulations to the nominees. He expressed his good wishes to them for their dedicated service to the nation.

In a tweet published on Thursday morning, the former Minister stated that the president’s selections for nominees are all of the exceptional quality, reflecting his endorsement of the choices.

He wrote, “Congratulations to all those in both the first and second Ministerial lists of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT).

“They are all excellent choices and I wish them the very best in their service to our great nation.

“I was a Minister 16 years ago and I know how tasking and challenging it can be. We must remember them in our prayers and ask God to guide them in all their endeavours as they make difficult choices for our nation and assist Mr. President. God will use them to take our great nation to a higher level”.
