A lady has reached out on social media seeking advice after she found herself in a situation where she slapped her mother-in-law in retaliation for being slapped by her. The woman shared her story in a post directed to Facebook user Angela Mel. According to her, her mother-in-law had come over for a visit, and her presence had made her life extremely difficult. The mother-in-law went as far as to criticize her upbringing and ended up slapping her. Fueled by anger, the lady responded by slapping her mother-in-law in return.

As a result of this incident, serious problems have arisen in her marriage, leading her husband to request a divorce. The lady is now facing significant turmoil in her relationship due to the aftermath of the slap.

In response to her plea for advice, a man from Nnewi, using the handle @Kene_Nnewi, expressed his viewpoint. He emphasized that it is not appropriate for women to confront their mothers-in-law, let alone resort to physical confrontation like slapping. He suggested that if a mother-in-law behaves inappropriately, the best course of action is to wait for the husband’s return and discuss the issue with him, trusting him to handle the situation properly.
