Tinubu to depart Abuja Sunday for UNGA in New York 

Rephrase President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja, the nation’s capital, on Sunday to attend the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) 2023, which will be held in New York, United States of America.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, who confirmed this on Friday, said that the President, besides the main event of the UNGA, will be meeting with key economic stakeholders around the world.

He confirmed that the President is scheduled to hold discussions with top executives and leaders of prominent multinational corporations, such as Brad Smith, the Worldwide President of Microsoft Company; Sir Nick Clegg, the Global Affairs President of Meta Technologies; as well as the CEOs of General Electric and Exxon Mobil.

Additionally, the President’s agenda comprises bilateral discussions during the UNGA with the Presidents of the United States, Comoros, South Africa, and the European Union Commission. Tinubu will also have meetings with the Prime Ministers of Spain and the Netherlands, the King of Jordan, and the Presidents of Algeria and Brazil.
