Police arrest 60-year-old man related to the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur

Sky News has reported that a 60-year-old individual named Duane “Keffe D” Davis from Nevada has been formally charged by a grand jury in connection to the murder of the renowned American rapper, Tupac Shakur.

Keffe D, reportedly identified as the uncle of one of Tupac’s known adversaries, Orlando Anderson, was presented before the court by the Las Vegas Police for arraignment. The grand jury indicted Keffe D on a murder charge involving the use of a deadly weapon.

Anderson, who was linked to a casino altercation with Tupac and his associates on the night of the rapper’s tragic death, consistently denied any involvement in Tupac’s murder. Unfortunately, Anderson passed away two years later in an unrelated gang-related shooting.

In interviews and his memoir titled “Compton Street Legend” published in 2019, Keffe D acknowledged his presence in the car allegedly associated with the shooting incident. Tupac tragically lost his life due to multiple gunshot wounds at the age of 25.

Until last Friday, there had been no prior arrests made in connection with this case.
