Nnamdi Kanu is not a terrorist, he commands millions who will never relent until he is freed – Lawyer, Ejimakor

Aloy Ejimakor, the Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), maintains that the Biafra activist should not be labeled as a terrorist.

Ejimakor emphasized that Kanu commands the support of millions, and this widespread backing will persist until he secures his freedom.

He underscored the improbability of four courts granting monetary compensation and an unconditional release to someone deemed a terrorist.

The IPOB leader has been detained by the Department of State Services (DSS) on the orders of the Nigerian government since his rearrest in Kenya in 2021.

Kanu was rearrested in Kenya in 2021 and subjected to an extraordinary rendition back to Nigeria.
