Actress Mary Remmy Njoku has criticized the tendency of married individuals not to give single people enough space. In a post on her Instagram page, Mary expressed her belief that marriage, on its own, is not an accomplishment; the real achievement lies in discovering the right life partner. The mother of three suggested that many couples who claim happiness may only conform to societal expectations.

Mary urged married women who mock single ladies to allow them the freedom to breathe. She argued that singles might not be in relationships simply because they haven’t found someone who brings them peace.
