Tinubu has made Nigeria and Africa a laughing stock – Aisha Yesufu

Social commentator and advocate for human rights, Aisha Yesufu, expressed her views on Tuesday, asserting that President Bola Tinubu has brought ridicule to Nigeria and Africa.

This assertion was prompted by a tweet from Tinubu back in 2013 where he criticized leaders who commemorate the late South African leader, Nelson Mandela, yet fail to embody his discipline and moral strength, thereby hindering progress for their people and tarnishing Africa’s reputation.

Yesufu dug out the post and shared it on X with her post that read: “Another day to remind you that Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made Nigeria and Africa a laughing stock.”

She recently intensified her critiques of Tinubu’s government, citing the escalating challenges of hardship and insecurity within the nation.

Yesufu has also indicated her lack of fear for her safety due to her outspoken opposition to the current administration. Instead, she remains resolute in her determination to criticize Tinubu’s leadership, citing the worsening economic conditions and security concerns in the country. She maintains that Tinubu himself engaged in similar criticisms in the past.
