If another election was held tomorrow, I would still vote Tinubu – Seyi law

Nigerian actor and comedian, Oluwaseyitan Aletile, professionally known as Seyi Law, has expressed his unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu, stating that even in the face of economic challenges in the country, he would cast his vote for Tinubu if a new election were held tomorrow.

He drew a parallel between the current economic difficulties in Nigeria and the biblical narrative of the Israelites’ journey through the wilderness, emphasizing his preference for enduring hardship with a leader like “a Moses guiding through the wilderness to Canaan,” rather than enjoying temporary comforts while sacrificing his children’s future in Egypt.

In a lengthy post shared via his X handle, recently, Seyilaw said “while a lot of Nigerians kill the optimism of others with hate and urge for immediate gratification, it is sad that our government agencies are not communicating government agendas, efforts, and actions effectively”.

He encouraged Nigerians to make demands from the state governments rather than depending on the Federal Government for “everything.”

The comedian said “it is easy for any government at the centre to please the multitude by reverting back to full subsidy on fuel and exchange rates, but I would rather we reset, rebuild, and sustain our future than live on a better now by borrowing our future”.

“if another election was held tomorrow, I would still vote Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu”.
