Moses Simon ranks fourth best dribbler in Europe

Nantes winger Moses Simon has earned the distinction of being ranked as the fourth-best dribbler in Europe, according to Opta, a British sports analytics company.

Opta’s analysis places Super Eagles forward Moses Simon just behind Barcelona’s Yamine Lamal, Manchester City’s Jeremy Doku, and Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane in terms of dribbling proficiency across Europe’s top five leagues.

In Ligue 1, Opta reveals that Simon holds the fourth position with a 55.1 percent dribble completion rate. He trails Lamal with 59.7 percent, Doku with 58.6 percent, and Sane with 55.5 percent.

In the current season, the Super Eagles star has contributed three goals and five assists in 18 Ligue 1 appearances for Nantes, who currently occupy 14th place in the French top-flight, three points clear of the relegation zone.

Simon, now in his fourth season with Nantes, has emerged as one of the club’s key players. He notably played a pivotal role in securing the Coupe de France title for Nantes in 2022, marking the club’s first trophy victory in over two decades.
